Take a Placement Test at a CTC

Classes that are too easy are boring. Classes that are too difficult are frustrating. Either way, you increase your risk of dropping out. Placement tests help you select the right classes to keep you challenged, interested and successful.

Protect Your Academic Track Record

Did you know that dropping classes and not completing credits impacts both your GPA and your financial aid eligibility? So, it helps if you start out at the right level for you.

Placement tools show where you are strong and areas in which you may need help. This gives you the opportunity to prepare for required courses. You and your advisor will use the results of your placement test to help you plan your courses.

Make the Grade

The community and technical colleges give a variety of placement tests. Check with the college of your choice to find out which ones are offered. Tests are held on campus and not online.
